I needed something to store my loose ribbons in and have had this shoe box sitting around for a while now (never throw anything away, it may come in handy). I set about covering it with paper & making holes in the side (need to make a few more too). I was wondering what to decorate it with when my local craft group asked me to demonstrate some of the flowers I make. What better way of showing the finished product than making a "garden of flowers" on top of my box. I didnt take a picture of the "before" which I should have done so picture a shoe box here - you can all do that, right, lol. Here is the "after":

ReplyDeleteAng what a beautiful altered item you have here! I too am an earthy crunchy type of person who has a hard time getting rid of packaging and good boxes.
